Windows NT 3.51
While Windows 3.1 usually had to rely on its setup program to change
video modes, Windows NT has the ability to change video modes on the fly.
Windows NT views device drivers and services as a list of available
programs that can be enabled or disabled.
Also note the "Licensing" icon in the control panel. This is specific
to Windows NT Server and is used to keep track of the number of users that
are authorized to connect to a Windows NT Server over a network. Each user
that connects to a file share or printer share on a Windows NT Server must
have a "License" to do so. Licenses are purchaced from Microsoft.
This is the Windows NT 3.51 network control panel. It lists all of
the network software that has been loaded and allows configuration of each
piece.
Printers are created and modified using the print manager. It can modify
print queues on remote computers, although this is somewhat limited. For
example, ports (listed here in "print to") can not be created remotely.
